Calendar of Events

The Parish Liturgy Committee discusses and plans forthcoming liturgies and other events related to the prayer and worship in our parish. It seeks to implement the ongoing efforts of the church to improve the involvement and active participation of our worshipping community in the public prayer life of the church. • Family Mass Committee

The Family Mass Committee plans the liturgy for the monthly Mass that is devoted to the participation of the entire family. Its goal is to have the 10:00 AM Mass conducted in a manner meaningful to the entire family. Please contact Nancy Nelson, DRE at 914-631-2380.



• Children's Liturgy

This ministry was formed with the intention of proclaiming and explaining God's word effectively to children. Children learn more from being involved in an activity rather than just listening to a teacher. For more information, please contact the Program coordinator, Nancy Nelson at 914-631-2380.

This ministry leads the congregation in hymns of worship and praise of God through music. The Choir helps to reinforce the meaning and instruction of scripture readings and the solemnity of the Eucharist through a harmonious arrangement of sacred hymns. The Choir encourages active participation of the congregation by singing hymns glorifying the ever loving presence of God, and fostering the fellowship of our parish community.

Greeters welcome and assist parishioners and visitors at the liturgies and special functions. Ushers are responsible for the collections and the presentation of the gifts. As a group, they receive the sign of peace from the celebrant and in turn give it to the congregation. The contact person is Bernard Sciarpelletti.
