Transfiguration Church Choir

Family Mass Music Group:  

This group performs at the 10:00 AM Family Mass (the first Sunday of each month) eight times a year. Rehearsals are held once a month on the Thursday before the scheduled Family Mass at 7:30 PM in the church. Please contact Mr. Daniel Moriarty, the Music Ministry Director, for additional information.

Transfiguration Choir:

The Transfiguration Choir will accept any parishioner, who has some musical training or experience in choir singing.  The music director will audition all others, who have an interest in the choir.  Parishioners must be high school age or older to qualify.  

The choir's roles are to enhance the liturgy through song, to encourage active participation of the congregation by singing, and to help build community within our parish.  The choir sings regularly on most Sundays at the 10:00 AM Mass, and at other liturgical functions. 

The choir meets every Thursday evening at 7:30 PM in the
church.  Regular attendance at the choir rehearsals is strongly encouraged.  Warm up practice sessions are held at 9:30 AM on each Sunday the choir is scheduled to participate.  Prompt attendance is also strongly encouraged at this session as well.
