Dear Lector,

I am enclosing the schedule for the Masses from March 31st to May 27th.  There is a separate list for the extra person for Palm Sunday and for the services on Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday.  The lists are in the Sanctuary.  You can also call or email me and I will put your names on the list.  We need two readers for the Palm Sunday Masses.  The lector listed will read the Passion and the second lector will do the readings and petitions as well as the part of the voice in the Passion.  I thank you in advance for all of your help with the extra services.

I have also placed the remainder of the books of readings in the Sanctuary for the lectors who requested one.  Your name is on a label on the cover of the book.  Please pick up your copy.  When you read at the Mass, don't hesitate to move the microphone to a speaking level that is near your voice.  There can be some difficulty if the readings are done too far from the microphone.  You perform a very important role at the Mass and the congregation pays close attention to the words that you proclaim.

At this time I would like to extend our gratitude and that of the Parish to two of our lectors who will be relocating shortly.  We wish the best to Laura Hartwig and Nino Totino.  You will be missed greatly and we hope to have you return to the family of Transfiguration in the future.

Joining us again as a lector is Kathleen Collins.  She has moved back to the area and we are very happy to have her with us.
