Parish Twinning

It is the primary purpose of the Twinning Committee to foster the spiritual, cultural and humanitarian relationship between Transfiguration Parish and our sister church, Reina de la Paz in Soyapango, El Salvador. The Twinning Program has given the parishioners and children of Transfiguration the opportunity to get to know their brothers and sisters in El Salvador. As they discover first hand information about life and conditions in a 3rd world country, they are uplifted by the incredible spirit and optimism of its people. Through scholarships and other programs, the Twinning Program provides an experience for parishioners and others to realize how sharing just a few dollars can make a difference in the future of a child by making it possible for that child to attend school.
