Song of My People (note: in the parish handbook this is mistakenly listed under music ministry; it should be listed under prayer groups)

Purpose: This small prayer group has been meeting since 1989. It began as a follow up to a Life in the Spirit Seminar conducted by Fr. Richard Champigny. Fr. Champigny contributed the format of the prayer group which consists of 25 minutes of songs of praise followed by about five minutes of praying for each other’s intentions and for the parish. Recently the reading and the general intercessions from morning prayer of the day have been added. The group meets from 8:00 to 8:30 AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the chapel. All are welcome.

Accomplishments: Continuing to grow and function as a small prayer community.

Objectives and goals for the coming year: Welcoming new members.
