Transfiguration School
Parents' Guild
The Transfiguration Parents' Guild is a non-profit 501c3 organization with a mission based on the morals and values of the catholic faith. The Guild's primary purpose is to organize fund raising events to provide support to the annual school budget. When requested, the Guild will assist the faculty in various areas. The Guild primarily deals with parent-centered activities, but at times assist with student-centered activities such as school dances, enrichment and cultural activities.
When the Guild's annual fund raising goals have been met, the first priority is to provide the school with $35,000 to support the annual operating budget. After annual Guild bills have been satisfied, any remaining funds will be donated back to the school to fund items on the school's “wish list.”
The Guild keeps fund raising programs to a minimum, with only two mandatory school fundraising events which are held annually in the fall and spring respectively. It has been the history of the school to avoid the prospect of continually requesting parents to make donations via a number of many fundraising events. Instead, the Guild has decided to streamline all of its efforts into two major fundraisers in order to achieve the greatest possible participation.
The Transfiguration School Parents' Guild has formulated the following committees to facilitate the school, faculty and its students:

This committee coordinates and moderates the sixth, seventh and eight grade students to explore interesting and fulfilling community service activities for the students. The chairman of the committee is Kitty Desimone.
